Terms of Service

Daanyam is a ritual facilitation platform that enables individuals to sponsor sacred sevas — including Gau Seva, Shiva Seva, and other ritual offerings — performed by verified seva kartas at partner gaushala and temple locations across India.

Important: Daanyam is not a charitable organisation, a religious institution, or a donation platform. Payments made on Daanyam are service fees for ritual facilitation and are not eligible for tax deductions under Section 80G or any other charitable provision.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Daanyam. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

Nature of service: When you book a seva on Daanyam, you are engaging us to arrange for a specific ritual offering to be performed by our verified partners on your behalf, on the date and in the manner described at the time of booking.

Fulfilment: We make all reasonable efforts to ensure sevas are performed as described. In exceptional circumstances (natural calamities, force majeure, or partner unavailability), we may reschedule the seva to the nearest auspicious date and notify you accordingly.

No guarantee of spiritual outcomes: Daanyam facilitates the physical performance of rituals. We make no representations or guarantees regarding spiritual, religious, or personal outcomes arising from any seva.

Panchang guidance: Date and tithi guidance provided on Daanyam is for informational purposes. While we strive for accuracy, we are not responsible for errors in panchang data.

Pricing: All prices displayed on Daanyam are in Indian Rupees (INR). Today's Seva, Gau Seva, and similar bookings add a 10% platform facilitation fee on the seva subtotal; GST is not charged on these offerings. The final amount payable is shown before you confirm payment.

Payment processing: Payments are securely processed by Razorpay. By completing a payment, you also agree to Razorpay's terms of service.

Refund policy:

• Cancellations requested more than 24 hours before the scheduled seva date: full refund minus payment gateway charges.
• Cancellations requested within 24 hours of the seva date: 50% refund.
• No refund once a seva has been performed.
• In case of seva non-performance due to reasons attributable to Daanyam: full refund.

To request a refund, contact us at support@daanyam.in with your payment ID and booking details.

Gau Seva sankalps (7-day and 30-day) represent a commitment to a continuous seva programme. Cancellation of an active subscription will be processed from the next billing cycle. Performed days within an active cycle are non-refundable.

You agree not to:

• Use Daanyam for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Provide false or misleading information during booking
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with our platform
• Use our services to harass, defame, or harm any person or entity

All content on Daanyam — including text, design, graphics, and code — is the property of Daanyam Technologies Private Limited and protected under applicable Indian and international intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without our prior written permission.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Daanyam Technologies Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Daanyam's services.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific seva giving rise to the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

We encourage you to contact us first at support@daanyam.in to resolve any issue informally before initiating legal proceedings.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date will reflect changes. Continued use of Daanyam following any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
