1. Seva Booking Cancellations
If you wish to cancel a seva booking, the refund amount depends on when you request the cancellation:
- More than 24 hours before the scheduled seva date: Full refund, minus payment gateway processing charges (approximately 2–3% of the order value).
- Within 24 hours of the scheduled seva date: 50% refund. The remaining amount covers partner mobilisation and preparation costs.
- After the seva has been performed: No refund is available once a seva has been completed and confirmed.
2. Non-Performance by Daanyam
If a seva cannot be performed due to reasons attributable to Daanyam or our seva partners (e.g. partner unavailability, logistical failure), you will receive a full refund with no deductions. Alternatively, we may offer to reschedule the seva to the nearest auspicious date with your consent.
3. Gau Seva Subscriptions
Gau Seva sankalps (7-day and 30-day programmes) represent a commitment to continuous seva:
- You may cancel an active subscription at any time by emailing us.
- Cancellation takes effect from the next billing cycle.
- Days already performed within the current active cycle are non-refundable, as the seva has already been carried out on your behalf.
- No auto-renewal charges will apply after cancellation is confirmed.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a cancellation or refund, email us at support@daanyam.in with the following details:
- Your registered name and email address
- Razorpay payment ID (starts with
pay_) - Order ID or booking reference
- Reason for cancellation
5. Refund Processing Timeline
Once a refund is approved:
- UPI / Net Banking: 3–5 business days
- Credit / Debit Card: 5–7 business days
- Wallet: 1–3 business days
Refund timelines are determined by Razorpay and your bank. Daanyam initiates the refund within 48 hours of approval. You will receive a confirmation email once the refund is processed.
6. Exceptions
Refunds are not available in the following cases:
- Seva has already been performed and confirmed
- Booking was made with incorrect details that were not corrected before the seva date
- Request is made after the applicable cancellation window has passed
7. Force Majeure
In exceptional circumstances such as natural calamities, government restrictions, or other events beyond our control, Daanyam may reschedule the seva to the nearest auspicious date. If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be issued.
