Payment information: Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card number, CVV, or full payment credentials on our servers. We receive only a transaction reference and payment status from Razorpay.
Usage data: We collect standard web analytics data including pages visited, time spent, device type, browser, and approximate location (country/city level) through tools like Google Analytics. This data is aggregated and anonymised.
Cookies: We use essential cookies for site functionality and analytics cookies (with your consent) to understand how our services are used.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Process and confirm seva bookings and payments
- Send booking confirmations and seva updates via email or WhatsApp
- Improve our services and understand user behaviour
- Comply with legal obligations including tax and financial regulations

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Information Sharing
We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Razorpay: Our payment partner processes transactions. Their privacy policy applies to payment data.
- Gaushala and seva partners: We share your name (not contact details) with our verified seva-performing partners solely to carry out the ritual in your name.
- Analytics providers: Anonymised usage data is shared with Google Analytics.
- Legal requirement: We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or government authority.
4. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, including to comply with applicable Indian tax and financial record-keeping requirements (typically 7 years for financial records under the Companies Act, 2013).
Analytics data is retained as per Google Analytics default settings (26 months). You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting us.
