Information you provide: When you book a seva or make a payment, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and payment-related information. For sankalp bookings, we may collect the name to be included in the ritual.

Payment information: Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card number, CVV, or full payment credentials on our servers. We receive only a transaction reference and payment status from Razorpay.

Usage data: We collect standard web analytics data including pages visited, time spent, device type, browser, and approximate location (country/city level) through tools like Google Analytics. This data is aggregated and anonymised.

Cookies: We use essential cookies for site functionality and analytics cookies (with your consent) to understand how our services are used.

We use collected information to:

• Process and confirm seva bookings and payments
• Send booking confirmations and seva updates via email or WhatsApp
• Improve our services and understand user behaviour
• Comply with legal obligations including tax and financial regulations
• Respond to your queries and provide customer support

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Razorpay: Our payment partner processes transactions. Their privacy policy applies to payment data.
• Gaushala and seva partners: We share your name (not contact details) with our verified seva-performing partners solely to carry out the ritual in your name.
• Analytics providers: Anonymised usage data is shared with Google Analytics.
• Legal requirement: We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or government authority.

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, including to comply with applicable Indian tax and financial record-keeping requirements (typically 7 years for financial records under the Companies Act, 2013).

Analytics data is retained as per Google Analytics default settings (26 months). You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting us.

Under applicable Indian privacy law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

Our website may contain links to third-party sites (such as Jyotirlinga temple websites). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these sites and encourage you to review their policies separately.

Our services are not directed to children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately.
