“Birthday of Lord Ram — celebrate with seva and devotion”
Significance of Ram Navami
Ram Navami is celebrated on the ninth day (Navami) of Chaitra Shukla Paksha as the birth anniversary of Lord Shri Ram, the seventh avatar of Vishnu and the hero of the Ramayana. It is one of the most widely observed Vaishnava festivals across India, observed with fasting, reading of the Ramayana, kirtans, and processions.
